On February 19th, the PCRF opened the first pediatric oncology department in the Gaza Strip. The Department was 100% privately funded by hundreds of donors all over the world. The 16 in-patient and 14 out-patient bed department will reduce the suffering of children traveling abroad for fragmented care, and also the separation of families, and save the Ministry of Health millions of dollars in referrals each year.
