In just over five years, the Homs League Abroad project that supports Syrian widows and orphans has provided shelter, education, and social and spiritual strengthening to over 525 individuals.
The results in turning around the lives of so many have been nothing but positive – all thanks to God. The mothers have learned various skills and trades and the children have regained and attained high levels of academic achievements.
After going through the many pains and being deprived of so many rights due to the war, the worst scenario is them having to return to that nightmare.
Sadly, this could become a reality!
The managing team for this project is now suffering from a financial crisis which may potentially result in the closing of one, if not all, of the centers.
